Become a Volunteer

Our volunteers accomplish extraordinary projects everyday here at the Racine Heritage Museum. Each year, over 6,000 volunteer hours are donated in areas ranging from research, to exhibit design, to event support. Volunteers make a difference in all levels of Racine Heritage Museum’s operation, including

  • Archives and research assistant
  • Artifact cataloguing
  • Reception desk and sales shop
  • Document transcription
  • School ‘marm or master at the 1888 Bohemian Schoolhouse

There are a variety internship opportunities at Racine Heritage Museum. These structured unpaid internships can be tailor made to fit the needs of students and include, but are not limited to, work in collections care, archival assistance and education.
